King speaks with Hubrecht researchers during work visit to the KNAW

His Majesty the King paid a digital work visit to the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) on Thursday 3 June. The central topic of the visit was the impact of the corona crisis on science. The King spoke with the president and director of the KNAW and several researchers about research during the pandemic. Wouter de Laat and Marvin Tanenbaum, group leaders at the Hubrecht Institute, talked about the development of the STRIP-1 test robot.
