‘Prijs Akademiehoogleraren’
The ‘Prijs Akademiehoogleraren’ is awarded annually to two Dutch researchers since 2011: one researcher in the social sciences or humanities, and one researcher from the natural sciences, technical sciences or life sciences. The award is intended for experienced researchers between 54 and 59 years old who have convincingly demonstrated with their work that they belong to the top of their field. Laureates are selected by international juries, composed by the KNAW.
