With the launch of the Hubrecht Institute Alumni Community, we aim to stay in touch, share updates on research and institute developments, and create opportunities for alumni and current employees to reconnect.

As part of the alumni community, you can expect:

A quarterly alumni newsletter with updates on research and developments at the Hubrecht Institute, as well as alumni stories and career paths
Access to a closed LinkedIn group where alumni and current employees can connect and exchange ideas
Invitations to alumni activities, including talks, informal drinks, and reunions

110 Years of Hubrecht & Alumni Reunion on June 6, 2026

In 2026, the Hubrecht Institute celebrates 110 years of science, curiosity, and collaboration. To mark this milestone, we are organizing an alumni reunion on Saturday June 6, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, at the Hubrecht Institute. In addition, we are organizing an open day on the same day between 11:00 and 16:00.

All former employees of the institute are warmly invited to attend. Partners, children, other family members and friends are warmly welcome during the Open Day. The alumni program during the reunion is exclusively intended for alumni. Registration for the reunion is free of charge.

We will send a newsletter every three months, and will send you an invite for alumni events that we will host approximately 2-4 times per year. We might also contact you to ask if you would like to give a talk or share your experiences
