Use this form to submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation for Hubrecht Symposium 2026

Abstract submission deadline is 23:59 (CET) on 1 February 2026.

As this is an interactive event, it is expected that the author of the submitted abstract will register and attend the event to be available to discuss the research with fellow delegates during the scheduled poster session.

Abstract guidance:

  • All abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Organizing Committee and assigned to the appropriate session for an oral and/or poster presentation. Selected presentations will be notified before 6 March 2026.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English;
  • No references, tables or graphics should be included in the abstract;
  • When using abbreviations within the body of the abstract, please spell out the name in full at first mention and follow with the abbreviation in parenthesis;
  • It is the responsibility of the author to ensure abstract text does not contain any typos or grammatical errors;
  • No changes can be made after the abstract deadline has passed.

Oral presentations
Selected talks are expected to last 10 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion; one presenter per abstract submitted.

Posters
Posters will be on display throughout the event and we ask that you print your poster in A0 portrait format.
