Single-cell sequencing explained

Back to news

Single Cell Discoveries, a Hubrecht Institute spin-off company specialized in single cell sequencing services, was visited by local television station RTV Utrecht a few weeks ago for an interview about single-cell sequencing and its applications.

Mauro Muraro, CEO of Single Cell Discoveries, was interviewed by Henk Westbroek about single-cell sequencing. In the interview, Mauro explains how single-cell sequencing works, and how it can help us better understand fundamental biological processes and diseases such as cancer. After visiting Single Cell Discoveries, Henk visits researcher Frank Holstege at the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology. Frank explains how single cell sequencing may help tailor the treatment of childhood cancer in the future.
