Launched last year, the HIPP aims to recruit outstanding students to the institute, where they will train under leading scientists to become world-class researchers in molecular and developmental biology. HIPP students will receive a fully funded four-year PhD position. Applications will be accepted until September 15th. Students enrolled in the HIPP will benefit from training from internationally recognized leaders in the life sciences, access to cutting-edge technologies, and a collaborative, interdisciplinary and scientifically stimulating environment. Students will also receive financial support for attending international conferences, organizational and financial support for obtaining necessary permits or visas, and access to training courses, career development workshops and opportunities for networking and public engagement. Eligibility The HIPP is open to applicants worldwide that hold, or expect to be awarded, a Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, (Applied) Mathematics, Engineering or related fields. We welcome students who are excited to redefine our understanding of molecules, cells, tissues and organisms. Timeline After the application deadline in mid-September, the selection process will take place between September 2026 and January 2027.
