Laurence Garric wins PLOS ONE T-Shirt Design Contest

Back to news

Laurence Garric, one of the postdocs of the Bakkers group, won the PLOS ONE T-Shirt Design Contest.

The contest was organized because of the tenth anniversary of PLOS. Garric’s winning design, “10 Hexagons for 10 Years”, represents the different topics in PLOS ONE: physical, chemical, life and social sciences. The eye in the last hexagon represents the vision of the scientist as well as the vision of science by PLOS ONE – the editing line and the Open Access to increase science visibility.

The shirt with Garric’s design will be available at the PLOS booth at various conferences, and soon also in the PLOS webshop.
