Curie meets Hubrecht

Back to news

On October 10th, 11th, and 12th, the first-ever joint retreat between the Hubrecht Institute and Curie Institute was held in Doorwerth, The Netherlands.  There were about 85 participants from Utrecht and Paris joining. The aim of the retreat was to learn about work done at the different institutes, and to get to know each other better, ultimately as an effort to stimulate collaborations between European researchers.

During the retreat the participants discussed diverse topics including epigenetics, chromatin organization, stem cells, lineage tracing, development, genome stability, and cell biology. Furthermore, there were lectures by Hubrecht and Curie PI’s, a poster session, parallel talk sessions and of course time for teambuilding activities and a party.
